Congratulations!
You found a buyer for your timeshare
GREAT! Now what?
How
do you transfer the ownership? Do you use a contract of assignment
or a deed? What type of deed do you use? What are the legal
requirements for a deed in that state or county? Where do
you send it for recording? What are the fees involved? Do
you need to pay state sales taxes or documentary stamps? How
do you notify the resort of the transfer? Do they have their
own particular requirements regarding the deed? Do they charge
a fee to make the transfer in their systems? How long will
this whole process take? WHAT IF YOU DO IT WRONG? Might you
risk losing the sale?
About
Us
Over
the past several years, the staff of The Timeshare Company,
LLC, a Wisconsin based company, have successfully transferred
thousands of timeshares in every state that timeshare
exists
(believe it or not, there are a couple of states that dont
have timeshares yet). We have also handled transferred timeshares
in Mexico, Europe, and many of the Islands including St.
Martin, Bahamas, Caimans, etc. We have the expertise and
experience
as well as state of the art equipment to help us take on
the challenges of transferring a single timeshare or hundreds
of them at a time. Our commitment to customer service is
unprecedented.
We
work with some of the largest management companies in the
world facilitating hundreds of transfers every year for each,
including Vacation Resorts International (VRI) and Resort

What It Will Cost.

For
transfers of timeshares in most states we charge as little
as $399 to $599 plus the cost of recording, taxes, and resort
transfer fees. Some states have unusually cumbersome requirements
which may require a slightly higher fee. To get a rock solid
quote of the fee for your timeshare transfer please contact
our office.
If
you are selling multiple timeshares we do have reduced fees
for multiple sales. To discuss a reduced fee for your multiple
